Close Brothers Motor Finance is celebrating a major birthday milestone of 30 years. To mark the celebrations, the company is rewarding all employees with a birthday day off.
The motor finance firm first opened its doors in Doncaster in 1988, and has been one of the largest employers in the Yorkshire region. Despite tough economic conditions over the years, the firm has continued its success, working with over 8,000 motor dealers and helping to finance loans worth nearly £7bn pounds against almost one million vehicles.
Since the first branch opening, Close Brother Motor Finance has expended its network to 13 offices across the UK, which has established them with one of the largest branch and on-the-road networks nationwide. Through building a strong network of local account managers, Close Brothers Motor Finance ensures dealers are provided with the support and guidance they need to make their business a success. The firm also has branches in the Channel Islands, offices in Jersey and Guernsey, as well as a division in the Republic of Ireland.
To mark the milestone birthday, Close Brothers Motor Finance is extending the celebrations beyond the company by rewarding all employees with an extra day of annual leave to celebrate their own birthday. For birthdays that fall on a non-working day, employees will benefit from having the next closest day off.
James Broadhead, CEO of Close Brothers Motor Finance, comments: “Our 30th birthday is a significant landmark for the business and a testament to our progress and the development we are making across the network. Helping to ensure local dealers are supported and offering face-to-face time is a crucial part of our business, and our continued success couldn’t have been achieved without our loyal employees. To show our appreciation, I’m delighted that they too can celebrate their birthday with an extra day of annual leave. I am greatly looking forward to the next chapter in Close Brothers Motor Finance’s history.”
Other celebrations include, a 30th birthday logo and a dealer prize draw to win tickets to a premier league football game, limited edition stationary and 30 year old bottles of wine.
